Leslie Nunn Reed is a seasoned expert in strategy, communications, marketing, and publishing. She’s served as Sr. Director of External Communications at WGU, leading a team of 38 with a $10M+ annual budget and strategically guiding communications and events for the largest nonprofit university in the U.S.

As Vice President of 5by5: A Change Agency, she founded the Dallas office of the full-service strategic digital marketing firm, serving 20+ clients. As VP of Brand Communications at William Morris Endeavor (WME/IMG), one of the world's largest talent agencies representing elite artists across every entertainment sector—specifically film, television, music, theatre, advertising, literature, and digital media—she led communications initiatives supporting multiple high-profile celebrity tours nationally.

While an embedded VP of Marketing & Communications with Live Event Management/HarperCollins Publishing, she guided the communication, marketing, product development, digital/social media, and public relations divisions, producing 30+ arena events annually. For the 165-location Super Suppers™ meal prep franchise, she negotiated promotional partnerships with Disney/Pixar, TNT, TBS, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia to increase customer traffic and sales.

Across her engagements, she’s thrived working in and for magazine and book publishing ventures, PR, communications, and marketing firms. She’s been privileged to represent 20+ authors and communicators as a literary and product licensing agent, including for multiple New York Times Best Sellers.

She holds a BS in Sociology/Communications from Wheaton College (Illinois), an MBA from Western Governors University, certification as a StoryBrand™ Coach, and Master Facilitator accreditation from INIFAC.
